I’m Fatima Habte, a licensed Moroccan tour guide and the founder of Gîte Talassemtane, an ecolodge near Chefchaouen and Talassemtane National Park. I grew up connected to the Rif region and its traditions, and I built this place to welcome travelers who want more than a quick visit to the blue city. At our ecolodge, we focus on responsible travel and community-based tourism: small groups, respectful cultural encounters, and guided hikes on the most beautiful trails of the Rif Mountains. We work closely with local mountain guides, cooks, drivers, and artisans so that your stay supports local livelihoods—while protecting nature, trails, and village life.
