TISSOUKA FIR TREES IN TALASSEMTANE PARK
Located in the eastern portion of the limestone ridge of the Rif, Talassemtane national park encompasses a very original territory that individualizes by remarkable landscapes and its biodiversity. The Park contains a large number of notable plant species: Moroccan fir, endemic species, the cedar and black pine. The fir trees forest is the most original forest. Early in morning around 7: 30 we depart from Chefchaouen to hike 4 hours to the fir forest of Tissouka Talassemtane national park. We cross several small villages of the Rif.
We arrive to Zaouiya village where Talassemtane guesthouse is located where we have our lunch. It is consisted of typical dishes of the region. It will be followed by tea with mint at the guesthouse terrace where you will enjoy the most beautiful scenery… A few minutes later a short walk to discover the rustic life of the Rif’s people; transfer to Chefchaouen
